    Synthesis and Fluorescent Properties of o Phenylenediamine and Its Metal CoordinationComplexes Based Fluoropoly(amide sulfonamide) s

    • Novel fluorinecontaining polymers, ophenylenediamine and its metal coordinationcomplexes based fluoropoly(amidesulfonamide)s were synthesized for the first time by solution polycondensation of βhydroxytetrafluoroethanesulfonic acid sultone (TFEsultone) and ophenylenediamine, Zn(oPDA)Cl2 and Cd(oPDA)Cl2. Chemical structures of the obtained FPASAs were characterized by GPC, FTIR,1HNMR and ICPAES in detail. Fluorescence quantum yields were investigated by UVVis and Fluorospectrophotometer. Results show that these functionalized fluoropolymers possess distinctive structures as well as unique fluorescent properties. oPhenylenediamine based fluoropoly(amidesulfonamide)s show a high fluorescence quantum yield of 0.65, and Cd(oPDA)Cl2 based fluoropoly(amidesulfonamide)s display the same fluorescence quantum yield, while fluorescence quantum yield of Zn(oPDA)Cl2 based ones are decreased to 0.39, which indicate the negative influence of Zn2+ on fluorescence quantum yield
