Research Progress of Core-Shell Polyacrylate Latex Particles and Its Latex

The univeral preparation methods of core-shell polyacrylate latex particles, such as seed emulsion polymerization, soapfree emulsion polymerization, inverse emulsion polymerization, miniemulsion polymerization and seed dispersion polymerization were reviewed. The effects of synthesis process, monomer species, emulsifier and initiator species and dosage as well as the polymerization temperature on the synthesis and properties of core-shell polyacrylate latex were analysed. Then, the research status of coreshell polyacrylate latex was summarized and its future direction of development was prospected.
