    Preparation of Salicylichydroxamic Acid Functionalized Polystyrene and Fluorescence Character Preliminary Exploration of Its Complex with Tb(Ⅲ)

    • Functional polystyrene (SHA/PS) bonded with salicylichydroxamic acid (SHA) ligand was prepared via Friedel-Crafts alkylation between SHA and chloromethylated polystyrene (CMPS). The polymer-rare earth complex, Tb(Ⅲ)-SHA/PS, was obtained by the coordination between SHA/PS and Tb(Ⅲ). The chemical structure of SHA/PS was characterized by FT-IR. The effects of main factors on Friedel-Crafts alkylation were investigated, and the reaction mechanism was discussed. Results showed that when the Friedel-Crafts alkylation was conducted with 0.06 mL of SnCl4 at 35 ℃for 18 h, the binding ratio of SHA was up to 33.1%. The prepared complex Tb(Ⅲ)-SHA/PS emitted the characteristic fluorescence of Tb(Ⅲ), furthermore, the intensity could be strongly sensitized by macromolecular ligand SHA/PS for the Antenna effect of SHA/PS on Tb(Ⅲ).
