Abstract
A block copolymer mPEG-CN-SS-PzLL was synthesized using methoxypolyethylene glycols (mPEG) as hydrophilic segment and poly (ε-benzyloxycarbonyl-L-lysine) (PzLL) as hydrophobic segment. The redox sensitive disulfide bond S=S and pH sensitive bond C=N were simultaneously incorporated in the copolymer structure. The resultant copolymers were comprehensively characterized by Fourier Transform Infrared Spectra (FT-IR) and 1H Nuclear Magnetic Resonance(1H-NMR). The copolymer could self assemble into dual stimuli responsive drug loaded nanoparticles by dialysis method. Results showed that these nanoparticles had prominent drug loading capability with high drug loaded efficiency up to 52%. The drug carrier system had a good in vitro release performance in reducing or acidic environment.
