Abstract
Large-pore silica white was prepared from industrial waste rice husk ash by chemical precipitation, and polyaniline-rice hull silica white composites were synthesized in the dispersion system of porous silica white by in-situ polymerization. The structure and electrochemical properties of composites were characterized by TGA, FT-IR, TEM, nitrogen adsorption and cyclic voltammetry. Results show that the morphology of composite is porous congeries. The composite (mPAn/mRHSi=0.434) exhibits specific area of 42.1 m2/g, and the most probable pore diameter of 22 nm. Its film electrode possesses good redox reversibility in acidic and neutral aqueous media.
