    Solubility, Thermal Stability and Pretilt Angle of 3, 5-Diamino-N-Benzamide Based Polyimide

    • Polyimide was copolymerized via one step method using selfmade 3,5-diamino-N-benzamide (DAPDM),3,3′-dimethyl-4,4′-methylenedianiline (DMMDA) with 4,4′-oxydi (phthalic anhydride) (ODPA). The obtained polyimide was characterized by 1H-NMR solubility, thermostability, and pretilt angle of polyimide were analysed. Results show that the polyimide has excellent solubility in N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone (NMP), N, N-dimethylformamide (DMF) and some other solvents. Meanwhile, the polyimide shows a pretilt angle of 2.8°.
