Abstract
The composite of polypyrrole (PPy) and polyaniline(PANi) was successfully sythesized by in situ sequence feeding chemical polymerization. The composite was characterized by scanning electron microscopy, filtergrating infrared spectrometer for structure, and electrochemical station for supercapacitive performance. Results show that the composite of polypyrrole and polyaniline have hierarchy structure; the cyclic voltammetry curves of the composite approach the rectangularlike; the typical constant discharge responses are found; the excellent supercapacitive performance present electric double-layer capacitance. The maximum specific capacitance of PANi-PPy and PPy-PANi reaches 227.6 and 195.5 F/g, respectively.
