Research Progress in Stimuli Responsive Properties of Intelligent Nanohydrogels

Intelligent nanohydrogels have so many potential application prospects in drug delivery field such as controlled release, medical diagnosis, biosensor, microreactor, catalyst carrier, etc. By combining the research results of the authors′ group, the research progresses in temperature stimulus responsive, pH stimulus responsive, light stimulus responsive, magnetic field stimulus responsive, molecule recognition stimulus responsive and multistimuli responsive nanohydrogels are introduced. Opinions on the existing drawbacks and development tendency of these intelligent nanohydrogels are proposed.
