Abstract
Firstly, the SPEEK/PVA polymer film which had the function of photo-induced generation of free radicals was prepared with sulfonated polyether ether ketone (SPEEK) as a photosensitive radical carrier and polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) as a dispersion stabilizer. Then, the SPEEK/PVA-AgNPs composite film was prepared via the generation of silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) in the SPEEK/PVA film by UV-induced reduction of Ag+.The composite film was characterized by Ultraviolet-visible Spectrophotometer (UV-Vis), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy (EDS), X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS) and Fourier Transform Infrared Spectoscopy (FT-IR).The results showed that the photo-generated Ag particles were nanoscale and distributed uniformly on the surface of SPEEK/PVA film. The SPEEK/PVA-AgNPs composite film showed brown color.Ag nanoparticles had formed a complete crystal phase and they were elementary substances.
