Abstract
Polyethyleneglycol diglycidyl ether (PEO-DE) and polydimethylsiloxane diglycidyl ether (PDMS-DE) were used as difunctional monomers to react with anhydrous piperazine (molar ratio was 1:1:1) to synthesize a novel kind of epoxy poly(ether amine) (ePEA) ended with epoxy groups. Then ePEA was mixed with gelatin in aqueous solution, casting in teflon mold to get dried crosslinked membrane.FT-IR,XRD patterns,DSC and Atomic Absorption Sepectroscopy(AAS) were exploited to study the structure and heavy metal ions adsorption capacities of the gelatin-ePEA crosslinked membrane. Results showed that gelatin was chemically crosslinked by ePEA,which could improve the stability of the gelatin membrane swelling in water. And the gelatin-ePEA crosslinked membrane exhibited a good adsorption ability to Cu2+,Pb2+ and Cd2+ in water, which was increased with the increasing of ePEA content.Adsorption process could be matched with pseudo second order model and Langmuir model.
