Advance in Chirality of Achiral Substance Induced by Chiral Solvent

It has been one of dominant methods for synthesizing chiral or optically active molecules by chiral solvent induction approach.Compared to the traditional methods,the chiral solvent induction strategy can avoid the use of expensive chiral reagents,and expand the chiral substance synthesized,which has the potential application prospects.Up to now,the chiral solvent induction strategy has covered the organic small molecules,oligomers and polymers systems.This review highlights a series of studies that include:(i) the development-historical background of chiral solvent induction strategy; (ii) the chiral solvent induction in small molecules and oligomers; (iii) the chiral solvent induction in polymers,especially in π-conjugated polymers and σ-conjugated polymers.
