Abstract:
First of all, a new type of B
3 monomer bearing three hydroxyl groups and three allyl groups was synthesized from allyl glycidyl ether and
N-aminoethyl piperazine. Then, the synthesized B
3 monomer could react with A
2 monomer, hexamethylene diisocyanate or 1, 6-hexanedithiol, to generate bifunctional hyperbranched poly(urethane amine) or hyperbranched poly(thioether amine) bearing both hydroxyl and allyl groups via isocyanato-hydroxy or thiol-allyl reaction, respectively. The effects of monomers and feeding ratios on chemical and topological structures of the hyperbranched polymers were also studied. Finally, the structure and chemical composition of the hyperbranched polymer were characterized by FT-IR,
1H-NMR, and GPC. Results indicated the successful preparation of B
3 monomer and bifunctional hyperbranched polymers with the feed mole ratio of A
2 and B
