Abstract:
Novel fluorinecontaining polymers, ophenylenediamine and its metal coordinationcomplexes based fluoropoly(amidesulfonamide)s were synthesized for the first time by solution polycondensation of βhydroxytetrafluoroethanesulfonic acid sultone (TFEsultone) and ophenylenediamine, Zn(oPDA)Cl2 and Cd(oPDA)Cl2. Chemical structures of the obtained FPASAs were characterized by GPC, FTIR,1HNMR and ICPAES in detail. Fluorescence quantum yields were investigated by UVVis and Fluorospectrophotometer. Results show that these functionalized fluoropolymers possess distinctive structures as well as unique fluorescent properties. oPhenylenediamine based fluoropoly(amidesulfonamide)s show a high fluorescence quantum yield of 0.65, and Cd(oPDA)Cl2 based fluoropoly(amidesulfonamide)s display the same fluorescence quantum yield, while fluorescence quantum yield of Zn(oPDA)Cl2 based ones are decreased to 0.39, which indicate the negative influence of Zn2+ on fluorescence quantum yield
