Abstract:
The univeral preparation methods of core-shell polyacrylate latex particles, such as seed emulsion polymerization, soapfree emulsion polymerization, inverse emulsion polymerization, miniemulsion polymerization and seed dispersion polymerization were reviewed. The effects of synthesis process, monomer species, emulsifier and initiator species and dosage as well as the polymerization temperature on the synthesis and properties of core-shell polyacrylate latex were analysed. Then, the research status of coreshell polyacrylate latex was summarized and its future direction of development was prospected.
