Abstract:
A novel tri-peptide derivative, phenylalanine-lysine-ethyl-ester-phenylalanine (PLP), was synthesized. A series of polyurethanes (PU-PLP) with different PLP contents were synthesized using PLP as chain extender, polycaprolactone (PCL) with different molecular weights as soft segment and dicyclohexylmethane 4,4′-diisocyanate (HMDI) as hard segment. The structures of PLP·2HCl and PU-PLP were characterized by 1H-NMR and FT-IR. The properties of PU-PLP were tested by DSC、TGA and bonding strength. Results show that the structures of PLP and PU-PLP appear to be well proven. Compared with BDOextended polyurethanes, PLPextended polyurethanes (PU-PLP) shows relatively higher adhesive ability.
