Abstract: y using 4-aminothiophenol and 4-chlorobenzene sulfonyl chloride as raw materials, a diamine monomer was synthized. A polyimide possessing good thermal stability can be obtained from the reaction of the diamine monomer with pyromellitic dianhydide.
