Abstract:
A series of soluble aromatic polyamides (PA) were prepared using diamine monomer 3, 3'-ditertbutyl-4, 4'-diaminodiphenyl-4″-tertbutylphenylmethane (TADBP) and three aromatic dicarboxylic acids by Yamazaki phosphorylating method. The structures and properties of PA were studied by FT-IR,
1H-NMR, TG and DSC.Results show that these polymers have good solubility in high-boiling organic solvents at room temperature, such as
N, N-dimethylformamide (DMF)
, N, N-dimethylacetamide (DMAc),
N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone (NMP) and dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO).Moreover, they can be dissolved in low-boiling solvents under heating, such as tetrahydrofuran, chloroform, methylene chloride.Furthermore, they have outstanding thermal properties with the glass transition temperature (
Tg) in the range of 188~193℃, as well as
T5% and
T10% mass loss temperature ranges of 391~416℃ and 404~437℃ in nitrogen atmosphere.
