Abstract:
Quercetin(Qu)magnetic molecularly imprinted polymers(Qu-MMIPs)with the specific recognizing property for Qu,were prepared using Qu as template molecule, acrylamide(AA)and
N-vinylpyrrolidone(NVP)as functional monomers,
N,N'-methylene bisacrylamide(MBA)as crosslinker,H
2O
2-Vc as initiator and Fe
3O
4 nanoparticles(NPs)modified with
γ-methacryloxypropyltrimethoxysilane(KH570)as magnetic carrier. The as-synthesized polymers were characterized by X-Ray Diffraction(XRD),Transmission Electron Microscopy(TEM),Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy(FT-IR),Vibrating Sample Magnetometer (VSM)and UV-Visible Spectrophotometer(UV-Vis).Results indicated that the modified Fe

4 magnetic carriers were coated with molecularly imprinted polymers. In comparison with magnetic molecularly non-imprinted polymers,Qu-MMIPs had better recognition performance for the Qu molecules.Static adsorption test and Scatchard analysis showed that two kinds of binding sites existed in Qu-MMIPs,and the corresponding dissociation constants were 1.646×10
-6mol/L and 6.387×10
-6mol/L.Furthermore,the maximum adsorption capacities of Qu onto Qu-MMIPs were 23.041 mg/g and 29.923 mg/g,respectively.
