Abstract:
Multi-walled carbon nanotubes(PEI-CNT) modified with polyethylenimine (PEI) were sequentially modified with fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC) and lactose acid (LA). LA modified PEI-CNT drug delivery carrier was successfully prepared and doxorubicin hydrochloride(DOX) was loaded on it.The synthesized multifunctional carbon nanotubes were used as a new anticancer drug carrier for target delivery to cancer cell. The structure and properties of the carrier were characterized and analysed by 1H-NMR,TEM, confocal microscopic and flow cytometric. The drug release rate of composite drug carried system was significantly higher in acidic media than that in alkaline condition, while the drug delivery carrier can target on hepatocellular carcinoma cell (SMMC-7721).
