Abstract:
Supramolecular liquid crystals combine different characteristics from suparmolecular chemistry and liquid crystal, which increase the interesting in research recent years. Several categories of noncovalent combinations, such as hydrogen bond, ionic bond and coordination force, are introduced on the base of the conception of supramolecular liquid crystal and supramolecular chemistry. The structure and the development of supramolecular liquid crystals are described. The analysis methods for suparmolecular liquid crystal are also discussed.
