Abstract:
The cellulose (Ce) was activated by ethylenediamine, and the blend films (Ce-TPU) were prepared by using the activated cellulose as material, solution casting lithium chloride(LiCl)-N,N-dimethylacetamide(DMAC) as solvent system and thermoplastic polyurethane(TPU) as finish agent. Structure and properties of the blend films were investigated by Fourier Infrared spectroscopic analysis (FT-IR), X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), tensile strength test and crease recovery test, respectively. Results demonstrated that the compatibility of cellulose and TPU was good. The optimization ratio of blend films was 30% of TPU mass fraction. For the optimal blend films, the breaking force was slightly enhanced, while the elongation at break was improved by 68%, and the crease recovery angle increased by 17%, the wrinkle resistance and elasticity were better than those of pure cellulose films.
