Abstract:
Poly aromatic ether ketone ketone ether ketone ketone containing side carboxyl group (PEKKEKK-A) was synthesized from trimellitic anhydride acid chloride(TAAC) and 1,4-bis(4-phenoxybenzoyl) benzene(p-EKKE) by low temperature solution polycondensation of 1,2-dichloroethane(DCE), N-methy-2-pyrrolidone(NMP) and anhydrous aluminum chloride(AlCl3). The polymer was characterized by Fourier infrared spectrum(FT-IR), proton nuclear magnetic resonance(1H-NMR), wide-angle X-ray diffraction (WAXD), thermal gravimetric analysis (TGA) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). The relationship between inherent viscosity and acid value of polymer was also investigated. Results show that the polymer has high glass transition temperature, thermal decomposition temperature and excellent chemical-resistance.
