Abstract:
A newtype of dopamine dimethylopropropionic amide(DMPA-DA) was successfully synthesized and then reacted with NCOterminated urethane prepolymer. A series of polyurethane with different contents of dopamine were synthesized by changing the ratio between DMPA-DA and another chain extender 1,4-butanediol. The structure and adhesive performance of the novel polyurethane(PU) was characterized by FT-IR、1H-NMR、GPC 、UV-Vis and shear strength test. Results showed that the shear adhesive strength was increased in accordance with the contents of dopamine in the PU on the substrate of polypropylene. The shear adhesive strength of PU with dopamine was 0.68 MPa, increased by 160% when compared with PU without dopamine. As for the substrate of LDPE、Al、stainless steel, the shear adhesive strengths of PU with dopamine were 2.00、1.70、4.55 MPa, respectively, increased at least 100% when compared with PU without dopamine.
