Abstract:
The alternative copolymers of poly(N,N′-p-benzoquinonediimine-co-2,2′-dithiophene) and poly(2,5-dimethyl-N,N′-p-benzoquinonediimine-co-2,2′-dithiophene) were synthesized using nickel (Ⅱ) complex as catalyzer. The obtained copolymers were characterized by FT-IR, UV-Vis spectra and cyclic voltammograms. Results show that these two copolymers give UV-Vis absorption peaks at 263, 315, 410, 261, 321, 403 nm, respectively. The substituted groups of methyl on p-phenylenediamine affect the electrochemical activity of copolymer.
