Abstract:
Fluorinecontaining polyurethaneacrylate coreshell emulsions were prepared by radical copolymerization of MMA, FA and HEMA endcapped PU macromonomer. The structures and properties of FPUA emulsions and latex films were characterized by laser particle size analyzer, FT-IR, DSC, TGA, contact angle meter and mechanical property testing. Results show that fluorinecontaining polyurethaneacrylate (FPUA) coreshell emulsions have been prepared successfully, and the latex films have low surface energy, low water absorption and excellent mechanical properties. With the adding of FA, surface properties are decreased greatly, while mechanical properties are increased obviously.
