Abstract:
A saltresistant superabsorbent resin was synthesized by ultraviolet initiation with sodium acrylate, starch and diatomite (DE) as the materials. The influences of neutralization degree, reaction time, the content of starch and diatomite,pH and concentration of NaCl on the absorption performances of synthesied resins were studied. The resin was characterized by FT-IR and SEM.Results show that absorbencys of the resin in distilled water and NaCl solution(w=0.9%) are 3 665 g/g and 280 g/g, respectively.
